Privacy Policy

Saturno SAS (“Saturno”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data when you use our service.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through our authentication provider (Clerk).

Meeting Data

When you use Saturno to record meetings, we process:

Meeting recordings (audio and video)
Transcripts generated from recordings
AI-generated summaries of your meetings
Participant information (names, roles)
Clips you create from recordings

Billing and Payment Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan or start Stripe onboarding, we process billing contact details, billing addresses, tax or VAT IDs, subscription status, invoices, and connected account status through Stripe. Saturno does not store your full card number; payment details are processed by Stripe.

Usage Data

We process product usage and diagnostic data through PostHog, including page views, safe route templates, referrer and campaign context, browser and device information, anonymous browser, device, and session identifiers, authenticated account identifiers, error messages, stack traces, and session replay data across Saturno’s hosted web application routes, including public, legal, authentication, and authenticated product pages. Passwords, payment-card data, and credential- or token-like values are masked or redacted. Request and response headers and bodies are not recorded in session replay.

We also store your application preferences, including language, locally in your browser.

Google Calendar and Google Meet Data

When you connect a Google account, Saturno accesses metadata for that account’s calendar list and busy-time ranges from every non-hidden calendar for which the account can read availability. For conflict detection, Saturno receives only busy-time ranges, not event titles, attendees, locations, descriptions, or other event content. Connecting one Google account does not automatically connect your other Google accounts. Their calendars are included only if you share them with the connected account or add them to its calendar list.

Saturno also accesses data for Calendar events it creates for your sessions and data for Meet spaces it creates. We use this data only to let you choose the calendar where Saturno creates session events, combine busy-time ranges to avoid booking conflicts, and create, update, or remove session events and Meet links. Saturno stores OAuth credentials, the selected session-calendar setting, busy-time ranges, and related event or Meet identifiers and links only as needed to provide these features, and shares Google user data only with Google, the service providers needed to operate Saturno, and intended session participants. We do not use Google user data for advertising or to create, train, or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Choosing Disconnect removes the local integration and its stored credentials and settings; it does not revoke Saturno’s Google Account grant or delete events or Meet spaces already created in Google. You can revoke access from your Google Account connections. Saturno’s use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Zoom Data

When you connect Zoom, Saturno uses Zoom OAuth to read the Zoom user ID and account ID needed to associate the connection with a later deauthorization request. Saturno does not need to store your Zoom profile name or email address for this purpose.

To create or update a meeting for an online Live Session, Saturno sends Zoom the meeting title, description, scheduled start time, time zone, and duration. Zoom returns meeting identifiers and a participant join URL. Saturno stores the OAuth credentials, Zoom user and account identifiers, meeting identifiers, token metadata, and participant join URL needed to operate the integration.

Saturno shares the participant join URL with the intended session participants. If you separately connect Google Calendar, Saturno may include that URL in the related calendar event. For an online Live Session, Saturno schedules Recall.ai capture when recording is allowed and skips it when recording is explicitly disabled. When capture is scheduled, Saturno sends Recall.ai the current join URL so the recording service can join. The Zoom integration itself does not give Saturno access to Zoom cloud recordings.

Choosing Disconnect in Saturno causes Saturno to attempt to revoke its access with Zoom and deletes the stored Zoom connection credentials, Zoom user and account identifiers, meeting identifiers, and participant join URLs associated with that connection. Local deletion still happens if Zoom cannot process the revocation. Removing Saturno in the Zoom App Marketplace also triggers that local deletion.

Saturno also attempts to clear the same Zoom join link from the related Google Calendar event while preserving the event. For Recall.ai, Saturno deletes a bot that has not been dispatched or asks a dispatched bot to leave, then checks whether Recall.ai has cleared the meeting reference. If a connected service is unavailable or no longer authorized, its copy may remain; remove it there or contact support.

Neither disconnect action automatically deletes every meeting already present in your Zoom account. Cancelling a future Saturno session while Zoom is connected deletes its corresponding Zoom meeting. Copies already delivered to intended participants, such as email or calendar notifications and browser history, cannot be retracted. Saturno session and order records, and recordings or transcripts created through Recall.ai, follow the other retention terms in this policy.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Provide and maintain the Saturno service
Record, transcribe, and summarize your meetings
Generate clips from your recordings
Authenticate your identity and secure your account
Process subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and Stripe onboarding
Understand product usage, investigate errors and issues, and provide customer support

4. Third-Party Processors

We share your data with the following processors, solely to provide the service:

Clerk — Authentication
Recall.ai — Meeting recording
OpenRouter — AI model routing
OpenAI — AI-generated summaries
Stripe — Payments, subscriptions, tax calculation, and connected account onboarding
PostHog — Product analytics, session replay, and error monitoring
Google — Google Calendar and Google Meet features when a user connects Google
Zoom — Online meeting creation and management when a user connects Zoom
AWS — Storage and processing
Convex — Backend database
Vercel — Frontend hosting

5. Data Transfers

Your data is transferred to processors based in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR Article 46.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account.
Recordings and media are stored in active storage for 30 days, then archived to long-term storage.
Billing records are retained for as long as necessary to operate the service and comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
Analytics, diagnostics, and session replay data is retained according to our PostHog project retention settings.
You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to records we must keep by law.

7. Data Retention and Protection

Saturno retains personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Zoom integration data is retained while needed to operate the connected integration and related session features. The Zoom-specific deletion behavior is described in Section 2 above.

Data stored in Saturno’s backend database is encrypted at rest. Data transmitted between Saturno, users, Zoom, and service providers is protected using HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored integration data is restricted to authorized backend services and authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Rectify inaccurate data
Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Restrict processing
Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
Object to processing

9. Cookies and Tracking

Saturno uses PostHog analytics, error monitoring, and session replay technologies to understand product usage, investigate errors, and replay sessions across the hosted web application, including public, legal, authentication, and authenticated product pages. Passwords, payment-card data, and credential- or token-like values are masked or redacted, and request and response headers and bodies are not recorded in session replay.

We also store essential preferences, including language, in your browser’s local storage and first-party cookies.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, signed URLs for media access, and HMAC-authenticated API communications.

11. Children

Saturno is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page.
